Position Title: Restaurant Development Manager - WestCoast


Reporting To: Director of Platform Partnerships


Position Overview: Restaurant Development Managers are hands-on leaders, managing all aspects of the restaurant pipeline and the early-stage restaurant relations.  Specifically, onboarding new restaurants based on client requirements and missing cuisine types. Also coordinating early execution for new restaurant partners. 


Key Duties:


  • Work with Restaurant and Sales teams to understand high-value client needs in all markets.

  • Create and manage the restaurant pipeline.

  • Onboard restaurant partners to meet client and Sales requirements.

  • Ensure Restaurant success for the first 30 days. 

  • (Pricing, Effective Menu, Accurate Serving, meal descriptions, and Dietary Restrictions


Work with Service Delivery Team to ensure effective partnerships are in place. 


  • Confirmations, On-time, Labelling, No Missing Items


Implement operational changes in the onboarding process for efficiency.


Travel to new cities, training staff on new restaurants and new vendors.


  • Ensure confirmation, follow up and accuracy of early orders.

  • Market new restaurants (internally and externally).

  • Oversee menu creation, dietary tagging, meal-type tagging, and restaurant banking information.


 


About you: 


  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales role

  • An entrepreneurial mindset

  • CRM experience (Hubspot & Salesforce)

  • Demonstrated leadership managing major projects or initiatives

  • Exemplary communicator; great people skills

  • Problem-solving ability; able to rapidly identify opportunities for improvement, locate key levers to effect change, and formulate a practical implementation plan


Education & Experience


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field

  • Restaurant/Hospitality experience

  • Highly organized.  You’ve proven that you can effectively and efficiently organize multiple priorities
